Hello and welcome back to alper.ca. It’s been a while since my last post. The pause wasn’t accidental—it was intentional. I needed to step back, reflect, recharge and refine my vision. Today I’m excited to share where I’ve been, where I’m going, and why this all matters not just to me, but to anyone building something meaningful.
I’m Alper Dama—entrepreneur, brand-architect, globetrotter, husband and father. I proudly hold citizenships in Canada, Russia and Turkey, and am honored to be a UAE Golden Visa resident that uniquely positions me at the intersection of cultures, languages and opportunities. I’ve worked in tech, e-commerce, real estate, marketing and creative production. And yes—while I’m building an e-commerce empire now—I also have an IMDb credit: I’m listed as an actor and set dresser in The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story (2015). IMDb+1
So this post is a mix of business, life, fun facts—and an invitation for what comes next.
The Road So Far
For more than 15 years, I’ve built digital brands, launched projects and embraced remote work across continents. The lessons have been hard-earned: success doesn’t only come from the idea—it comes from how resilient, curious and adaptable you are in motion.
My journey has taken me from marketing agencies to e-commerce platforms, from real estate deals to tech startups. But mid-2023, I found myself asking: What do I really want to build? How will I measure success now? The answer: impact, intention and presence.
That’s why I paused—to listen, to reorganize, to focus on fewer things but do them with more meaning.
What’s Changing & What’s New
1. Embracing AI, automation and e-commerce at full throttle
The convergence of brand + automation + global business is where I’m placing my bet. The world is shifting. If you’re building online, you cannot just do the same things faster—you must do them differently. My mission: create systems that scale, brands that resonate and platforms that connect people.
2. Real estate with purpose
Real estate used to mean properties. Now it’s ecosystems. Spaces that enable creativity, connection and community. I’m building toward that.
3. Life becomes the work
One of the biggest shifts: letting life inform work. Being husband, father and global citizen adds context to everything else. Travel isn’t just a perk—it’s research. Meetings aren’t just business—they’re relationships.
4. You’re invited
This blog will reflect the good, the messy and the evolving. I’ll share what’s working, what’s failing and what’s emerging. Because authenticity builds trust. Because community grows when we’re real.
Fun Facts (Yes—business doesn’t have to be serious all the time)
- I hold Tripple citizenship (Canada, Türkiye, UAE, Russia) — it’s not just a fact, it’s an advantage. I’ve learned that identity is layered and global.
- On my IMDb page: credited for The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story (2015) as actor and set dresser. IMDb+1
- I’m building an e-commerce empire—not for the hype, but for the impact. For me, every purchase is a vote for something bigger.
- I live the “bleisure” lifestyle—business + leisure blended. Meeting at sunrise, walking on the beach at sunset, remote call from a café in a new city.
- My mantra: “Every impulse buy funds someone else’s freedom.”
- I once insisted that instant-coffee ruins creativity (Yes, I’m serious). Life’s too short for bad caffeine and worse business decisions.
Why I’m Back—and Why It Matters to You
Because sharing success without the story feels incomplete. Because insights without the journey feel shallow. Because in a noisy world, I want resonance.
If you’re building a brand, dabbling in AI, juggling life and work—or simply dreaming something bigger—then you and I are aligned. I’ve been there. I’m still there. And I’m inviting you along.
This isn’t about ego. It’s about evolution. It’s about how we respond when we pause, pivot and proceed.
What to Expect
- Live updates from my ventures: what’s emerging, what’s stalling, what’s changing.
- Deep dives into AI, automation and the future of digital business: not fluff, but actionable learnings.
- Travel & life essays: not the highlight reel, but the human story behind the scenes.
- High-impact takeaways you can apply whether you’re launching a side-hustle or scaling a business.
